Sydney, NSW

This iconic heritage-listed hotel has changed hands of service many times throughout its operation. The latest refurbishment commenced with The Point Sports Bar.  The previous renovation was less sympathetic to its heritage, so the challenge was to return the detail and character. Over the course of six months, custom wall paneling, joinery and upholstery works were undertaken and a full fitout installed that echoes a British colonial aesthetic. Custom walnut pedestal tables with inlay and brass detailing ensure a comfortable patron experience, as do the navy leather chesterfield-style upholstered booths and chairs. Signature lighting was introduced to add a whimsical twist on conservatism. Brass-detailed bar shelving and countertops of solid walnut construction reinstate the historical nature of the site.
